Mike Ivas has more than 25 years of experience in brand management, marketing and advertising for some of the leading consumer goods companies in the country. He was also a principal of MHOC, Massachusetts Housing Opportunities Corp, a private developer of affordable housing throughout the state.
His career began with classic product management positions at Foster Grant Sunglasses and New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc.
For more than 15 years he owned Michael James Co., a marketing communications firm based in Worcester. His clients included nationally known companies such as Reebok, Dunkin Donuts, Titleist and FTD Florists.
As a partner with MHOC, he met with officials in over 40 cities and towns to discuss affordable housing projects that the towns both need and want. He built both 40B and 40R projects in Methuen, Sterling, Harvard and Lunenburg.
For the past six years he headed up new business development at Davis Advertising, one of the largest full service ad agencies in the state.
At Glickman Kovago & Co. he will focus on the sales, marketing and leasing of a variety of commercial property throughout Worcester County.
A native of Dorchester, Mike has lived in Princeton for over thirty years with his wife Susan, Director of Guidance at Holy Name High School, and his three children, Katelyn, Lisa and Michael James.
